ABOUT PACIFIC HORIZON
Pacific Horizon are one of the largest motorhome rental companies in New Zealand. They have been very proactive in recent years bringing in new innovative models in response to customer needs. They offer 4 depot locations (2 in the North Island and 2 in the South Island). Courtesy transfers and a commitment to customer service makes them one of the more popular companies we offer.
THE MOTORHOME
A very spacious and luxurious, well-equipped, 240v air-conditioned motorhome, ideal for up to six adults, with all the comforts you would expect from this top-of-the-range model. Powerful 3.6 litre diesel engine with economical running costs even over long distances. 3 forward facing seats in drivers cab, great feature.

DAILY HIRE RENTAL RATE QUOTE INCLUDE'S

ONE WAY FEES
A one way hire fee of NZ$250 is applicable for hires between 1 November to 31 March. This is waived for hires over 7 days or if All Inclusive Insurance is taken out.
DIESEL TAX
A diesel levy of NZ$5 per day will be charged for all hires, unless the All Inclusive package is taken out
INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE (minimum level of insurance and already included in quoted rate):
Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/excess of NZ$4500 (Credit Card imprint only) or options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. A cash bond is also acceptable. (Options are payable at the depot)
Insurance option with Standard Rate:
Option 1: for NZ$21 per day reduces bond/excess to NZ$2500 (Credit Card imprint or cash)
Option 2: for NZ$36 per day reduces bond to NZ$250 (Credit Card imprint or cash), excess Nil
Note: We will accept Debit cards, but they will be treated as a cash bond, ie. the card will be debited
WINDSCREEN AND TYRE COVER
Windscreen and tyre cover is included in all Pacific Horizon insurance policies. This relates to the front windscreen only - not the side and rear windows
ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE - FULL INSURANCE
All Inclusive Package is available to travelers for NZ$46 per day . This includes Nil excess. All one way hires free of charge. Third party property damage. GPS, Camping table and chairs, baby capsule or child/booster seat(s) and snow chains where necessary. This Option need to be Pre-booked .
GENERAL HIRE INFORMATION
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is five (5) days in all periods with the exception of hires travelling through 20 Dec - 10 Jan and all School holiday periods when the minimum hire period is 14 days.
Five day hires may be possible but short hire conditions will apply. Short hire conditions are: limit of 250kms per day (additional kms charged at 35c per km) plus there is a NZ$100 grooming fee.
DRIVER LICENSES
A current valid driver's licence (held for a minimum of one year) is essential. An International permit or a country of origin license is satisfactory. Minimum age of all drivers is 21 years.

Normal charges apply to passengers. Special only applicable when ferry is booked through Pacific Horizon. This special may be used with other special offers.
Book before 30 April 2010 for travel between 15 October 2010 and 31 March 2011, and receive the All Inclusive Package for free when paying Standard rates.
