TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE

INSURANCE
Insurance is an additional $20 per day ( includes GST) for comprehensive cover and payable at start of hire.

BOND/EXCESS
$2000 bond covers the excess in the event of an accident, loss or damage. Optional bond reduction waiver for a further NZ$10 per day reduces bond to NZ$500. This can be payable as a credit card imprint (Visa/Master card) or cheque, this will be retained by Sunrise Holidays for the period of the hire at the start of the hire.

DRIVER’S LICENCE
A driver's licence must be sighted at the time of pickup of all persons who wish to drive the campervan. Drivers must be over the age of 25 years. An International drivers licence or current drivers licence issued by your own country is acceptable.

UNLIMITED TRAVEL
Sunrise Campervans operate on an unlimited kilometre basis. No extra costs arise irrespective of the number of kilometres you travel.

PICK UP/DROP OFF TIMES
Pickup/Drop off times for the campervans are between the hours of 8am-5pm. An extra charge will be made for overdue returns without prior arrangement.

ONE WAY HIRES
One way hires between our depots are free of charge.

ROAD RESTRICTIONS
Campervans are not covered by insurance if operated on roads specified as unsuitable for use by campervans.
North Island - These include Ninety Miles Beach coastal Road to Russell and all access roads to ski fields and riverbeds
South Island Skippers Canyyon Road, Ball Hutt Road and all access roads to ski fields and riverbeds

CHANGE OF CAMPERVANS
We reserve the right to substitute a comparable campervan if the reserved campervan is not available. This shall not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the hirer to any form of refund.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
No refunds will be paid for voluntary downgrade of vehicle or unused hire days.

The bond, insurances and any additional equipment must be paid for in full prior to commencement of the hire.

Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 20% of the daily hire tarrif times the number of days of the hire. The full balance is required 30 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, Compulsory daily insurance, optional insurance waivers and any additional equipment must be paid at the Depot at the commencement of the hire.
