R+R 4-5 berth - Terms & Conditions

R & R GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

All hires are subject to terms of hire in the agreement.

All Quoted rates include unlimited mileage, and GST. Refunds are not available if the campervan is returned earlier than agreed.

The NZ$2,000 Bond includes a NZ$1,200 insurance excess. 30% of the total daily hire rate is deducted from your credit card to secure the hire. The remaining 70% plus Daily insurance @NZ$20 per day and any rental hire equipment pre-booked is debited from your card 28 days prior to start of hire. If the hire starts within 28 days they will be debited immediately. The Bond is debited.The NZ$2,000 bond is fully refundable if no damage to vehicle (or claims made against the hirer)and the hirer has operated within the terms and conditions of the agreeement and returned the vehicle in a reasonable state of cleanliness.

A minimum hire period of fourteen days
Pick up/Drop off: Between the hours 8am - 5pm (extra charge for late return).
Drivers licence must be sighted at the time of pick up of all persons requiring to drive. (Drivers must be 25yrs+)

Road Restrictions
Campers/Motorhomes can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads. No vehicles shall be driven on the following roads: Skippers Canyon Road, Ball Hutt Road, Crown Range Road, 90 Mile Beach, all unsealed ski access roads.

Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
* Rates are per day in NZ$ and include unlimited kilometres & GST (New Zealand Government Tax)
* The minimum hire period is fourteen days, (21 days if picking up and dropping off in Auckland).

Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by New Zealand from the country of origin (with certified English translation where applicable).

Depots: Auckland, Nelson, Picton, Wellington, Greymouth, Christchurch
One way Motorhome hires available to/from Picton, Nelson, Christchurch, Greymouth (Trans-Alpine Train Connection). For some relocations there is a small cost . Relocation to other centres available. Special Conditions apply.

Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE:
There is a compulsory insurance charge of NZ$20 per day. However the hirer is liable for the first NZ$ 1200 of any damage caused in any one accident. The bond and insurance will be debitted 24 hours in advance of the commencement of the hire is to cover this.

Bond
All hirers must pay a bond of NZ$ 2000 in advance of the commencement of the hire. This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and that there are no third party claims against the hirer.

It is recommended that hirers take out their own travel insurance to cover personal injury, medical expenses and personal property.

General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:

Missing or damaged equipment. The vehicule is not returned in a clean condition.

The Company is unable to make refunds for vehicle returns before the due date, or unused rental days.

Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Booking Deposit
A deposit of 30% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 30% of the daily hire tariff times the number of days of the hire. The full balance is required a minimum of 30 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, insurances and any additional equipment must be paid for in full prior to commencement of the hire.
