RENTAL DURATION
Minimum rental period: 5 days during the months of October through April and 10 days during the months of May through September. Day of pick up and day of drop off are always calculated as full days regardless of the pick up and drop off times.
Late pick up and early drop off do not entitle the hirer to any refunds of unused time.
When the rental duration covers more than one rate period the calculation is based proportionately on each rate.

INSURANCE
Comprehensive insurance is included in the daily hire rate. However you will be responsible for the first NZ$2000 (the excess) of each claim including, but not limited to, windscreen and tyre damage, towing costs, damage caused by using incorrect fuel or by drunkenness, illegal use of vehicle, leaving the keys in the vehicle while it is unattended The excess will be charged regardless of fault. However, the excess will be refunded if recovered from a third party. Alternatively, a zero excess option is available for an additional daily cost of NZ$20.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of NZ$2000 will be required at the time you pick up your campervan. This is usually provided as an undeposited credit card sales voucher, but can be paid by cash or travellers checks if preferred. The security deposit will be refunded in full upon return of the campervan with a full tank of fuel to the agreed location, on the agreed date with no damage to it or third party property and with all equipment provided returned in good condition, and provided all the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement have been met.

ONE-WAY RENTALS AND CHANGE OF DESTINATION
One-way rentals are available. An additional charge equal to the cost of recovering the vehicle will apply.
One-way rentals and changes of destination after the start of your hire are also possible by arrangement and subject to availability. Authorisation must be obtained through New Zealand-Motorhomes. The availability of changes is not guaranteed.

RENTAL EXTENSION AND LATE RETURNS
The rental duration may be extended by arrangement and subject to availability. Authorisation must be obtained through New Zealand-Motorhomes before the end of your existing contract. The availability of extensions is not guaranteed. Unauthorised late returns will be charged the full day rate for each day. If more than 24 hours late an additional NZ$500 pernalty will be charged.

RENTAL LOCATION
Unless otherwise agreed pick up and drop off is at Auckland.
Open hours are 0700 - 2000.

DRIVERS LICENCE AND AGE
A valid current national standard drivers licence is required. National driver's licences, which are not in English, need to be presented in conjunction with an official translation or valid international drivers licence. The minimum age is 21. New Zealand Frontiers provide a guide book to local laws and you will be liable yourself for any fines or penalties you receive.

ROAD RESTRICTIONS
Your Campervan can only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads. No vehicles shall be driven on beaches, in salt water, or on areas signposted as prohibited.

ON-ROAD ASSISTANCE
New Zealand Frontiers campervans are presented in immaculate condition and maintained in accordance with manufacturers' schedules. Any problems with the vehicle, including equipment failure, tyre or windscreen replacement and incidents likely to result in insurance claims, must be reported using the freephone helpline as soon as possible to enable an opportunity to rectify the problem. Failure to notify within 24 hours may limit your compensation and increase your liability under the insurance contract.

ANIMALS AND PETS
New Zealand Frontiers do not allow animals to be carried in their vehicles.
