Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
* Rates are per day in NZ$ and include unlimited kilometres, & GST (New Zealand Government Tax)
* The minimum hire period is 6 days

Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by New Zealand from the country of origin (with English translation where applicable).

Depot/Pickup Points:
Auckland - Christchurch

Insurance & Bond
A basic insurance at NZ$ 16 per day is compulsory and covers your vehicle and third party property to NZ$10,000,000. The excess is NZ$2000. The excess on any vehicle is NZ$3000 instead when the vehicle is driven by a driver who is under 21 years of age or has held a driver's license for less than 12 months. The hirer will be liable up to this amount for any damage caused in any one accident or for interior damage. A respective bond will be taken on pick-up of the vehicle. This bond will be fully refunded provided the vehicle is returned in a reasonably clean condition, without damage or involvement in an accident, without any liability to any third party, with a full petrol tank and all traffic offences paid for. This insurance excludes windscreen and underfloor damage; the windscreen can be insured for an additional NZ$7 per day.

Bond Waiver Insurance
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). An additional NZ$ 12 - per day (altogether NZ$ 28.-) will reduce the excess in case of damage to NZ$500. This insurance includes windscreen and underfloor damage. A bond of NZ$500 will be taken on pick-up.

The bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and is returned in a reasonably clean and undamaged condition.

Insurances do not cover water submersion, saltwater damage, tyre damages, incorrect use of fuel, damages caused by wilful conduct or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and costs to retrieve a bogged vehicle.

General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:
The vehicle is not returned to the agreed location at the agreed time
Damage is incurred to the vehicle or any 3rd party property
Waste water tank and toilet have not been emptied
Fuel tank has not been filled
Any traffic fines have not been paid
The vehicle is not returned in a reasonably clean condition

There will be no refund for vehicle returns before the due date, or unused rental days.
In the event of mechanical failure or major accident rendering the vehicle unserviceable and no alternative vehicle is available, liability will be to only refund those actual lost rental days.

Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total hire cost is payable to secure a booking. This is calculated on 20% of the daily hire tarrif times the number of days of the hire. The full balance is required 30 days before the commencement of the hire.

The bond, optional insurances waivers and any additional equipment must be paid at the Depot at the commencement of the hire
